Product Details

Oval turquoise cabochons alternate with faceted oval rubies along a fine 18K gold chain, pairing turquoise's opaque, matte blue with the ruby's clear red sparkle. The contrast in both colour and finish — solid stone against faceted gem — makes each station distinct rather than blending into the next. It's an unusual combination for fine jewellery, more often seen in southwestern or bohemian pieces than a refined gold station bracelet.

Base Metal: 18K Gold Turquoise and ruby is an unusual pairing for fine gold jewellery — the opaque, matte turquoise plays against the ruby's clear faceted sparkle in a way few station bracelets attempt. Hand-set in 18K gold at Qala's workshop in Jaipur, India's historic gemstone hub, it stands apart from Qala's more conventional colour-matched pieces.
