THE STONE & DESIGN

A round white pearl sits at the earlobe, and a tiny bezel-set diamond catches the light just beneath it. From there, fine 18K gold chains fall in two lengths, each carrying slim marquise rubies in a deep pinkish red. The rubies are framed in thin gold bezels and move independently, so the pair sways gently and glints with every turn. Pearl is the June birthstone and ruby is July's, which makes this a thoughtful gift for either month and a soft, romantic choice for a wedding.

CARE

Put the earrings on after perfume, hairspray and makeup, and take them off before swimming or showering. Wipe the pearls with a soft, dry cloth after wearing, and store the pair flat in a soft pouch so the chains don't tangle. Avoid ultrasonic and steam cleaners.
