Rainbow moonstone gets its name from the flash of blue that moves across its surface as it turns — adularescence, a trait gem cutters chase with rose cuts like the ones used here. Each stone is hand-set in 18K gold at Qala's workshop in Jaipur, giving this band a softer, more romantic finish than a faceted, high-sparkle ring.
