Pear-shaped tanzanite stones point in alternating directions around this eternity band, their violet-blue deepening or lightening slightly stone to stone. The teardrop cut gives the ring more visual rhythm than a uniform round or oval shape, with each bezel catching light a little differently. It's the most fluid, movement-driven design among Qala's tanzanite eternity styles, alongside the marquise, baguette, and oval versions. The pear, or teardrop, cut is one of jewelry's oldest silhouettes, prized for how it lets light move through a stone differently than a symmetrical cut. Set alternating point to point, each tanzanite here is hand-bezelled in 18K gold at Qala's workshop in Jaipur, giving this band a subtly different rhythm than its marquise-, baguette-, and oval-cut siblings in the same rare gemstone.
